In 1989 William Basinski founded Arcadia, a studio and performance space that was to define Williamsburg, NYC, as the seat of the cultural avant-garde in the 90s, nurturing the talents of artists such as Antony Hegarty. In 2014, Basinski and UK arts organisation Art Assembly co-curated a series of Arcadia-inspired music and live art events across London, for which Can Can wrote the brochure.
